Pescasseroli lies in a landscape of uncontaminated beauty in the heart of the National Park of Abruzzi, and is nowadays Pescasseroli is a residential area, a great craftswork centre, an important tourist resort both in summer and in winter, with its 20 km long ski-fields, and the starting point for excursions into the Park.

It can be reached from Rome by motorway A24-A25, exit Aielli/Celano, then about 50 km road SR83, by train it is possible to reach Sulmona, then take a bus. From Naples about 170 km, autostrada A1 exit Caianello, then direction Venafro, then proceed towards Castel di Sangro, and after Rionero Sannitico take SS83 towards Alfedena.

The Aeroporto d'Abruzzo (120 km east) offers daily flights to Milan, Sicily, and European destinations as London, Paris, Frankfurt. The Rome airports are 200 km away.

Pescasseroli is in the heart of a National Park, and there is a Visitor's center that informs about all possible itineraries and activity.
